This spring, Nat Geo WILD continues to be the destination for the most stunning blue-chip programming with a new natural history slate featuring three epic, new limited series: America’s Wild Frontier, The Mighty Northwest and Wild Russia. Whisk across America’s western frontier and through the Pacific Northwest to see the wild wonder our very own country has to offer, then journey off the grid to rarely scene locations throughout Russia and come face-to-face with its greatest wildlife.

Kicking off this year’s natural history slate is new series America’s Wild Frontier, premiering on Friday, March 2, at 8/7c on Nat Geo WILD. Explore America’s heartland and discover a cast of characters that include bears, bison, beavers and wild horses who share a life of risk and danger. Then, climb the tallest trees on earth, traverse the last of America’s glaciers, and dive with some of the biggest marine life on the planet in new series The Mighty Northwest, premiering in April 2018. Finally, travel across the world to Russia’s diverse terrain to find elusive tigers, massive bears, rarely seen leopards and more in new series Wild Russia, premiering in June 2018.

Home to the tallest trees on earth, the last of America’s big glaciers, and a string of towering volcanoes, America’s Pacific Northwest is one of the nation’s most intriguing and mesmerizing natural wonders. In this five-part series, discover the epic meeting of land and sea that attracts some of the biggest marine life on the planet, traverse the Redwood forest—home to an incredible diversity of animals and the tallest living beings on earth, and trek the iconic Rocky Mountains where wildlife thrives despite the harsh climate and steep elevation.

Wild Russia is a stunning adventure across Russia’s unique terrain that extends across 12 time zones with contrasting environments. Celebrate Russia’s most mysterious locations and iconic wildlife in this landmark four-part series that takes you on a journey through the wetlands of the Kamchatka Peninsula, the crystal clear waters of Lake Baikal—the oldest and deepest lake in the world, the icy and pristine landscapes of Siberia, and a little-visited corner of the globe—the Russian Far East.
