Safari Live

  • Nat Geo WILD’s hit series Safari Live pulls off an impressive technological feat every single day, 365 days a year: the series streams LIVE online safaris twice daily from the middle of Africa for an authentic safari experience that viewers can enjoy from the comfort of their own home … no passport required! This July, Safari Live is returning to prime time with Safari Live: Migration. Join our expert safari guides as they bring us into the middle of Kenya’s iconic Maasai Mara to capture one of the most breathtaking and dramatic wildlife spectacles on the planet — the great wildebeest migration — broadcast LIVE to your living room.

The new season of Safari Live: Migration premieres Friday, July 27, at 11/10c on Nat Geo WILD.

Every year, nearly 2 million wildebeest make an epic journey through the Maasai Mara/Serengeti ecosystem in the East African countries of Tanzania and Kenya. Watch LIVE as guides take viewers on unscripted safaris to witness the circle of life unfolding in real time — thousands of wildebeests crossing crocodile-ridden waters and prides of lions battling each other for food, territory and power. You never know what will happen next.

What sets Safari Live apart from anything else on television is the fact that viewers can interact with the guides live on Twitter using #safarilive as they get up close with Africa’s most iconic species, such as lions, elephants, giraffes, leopards and more. The guides will not only answer submitted questions but will quiz viewers on their wildlife knowledge and let them tell us where they want the game drive to go next!

Nat Geo WILD’s daily online stream of Safari Live will continue to be anchored in South Africa’s Sabi Sands with live cut-ins of the migration in the Maasai Mara. Safari Live streams every day, twice daily on wildsafarilive.com
