National Geographic Winter TCA 2023

  • We are thrilled to see everyone in person at the Langham again for TCA this winter! We can’t wait to share what’s on the horizon for National Geographic and bring storytelling into the spotlight.

Panels include “A Small Light,” a powerful, eight-episode limited series, that tells the remarkable true story of 20-something secretary Miep Gies (Bel Powley), who didn't hesitate when her boss Otto Frank (Liev Schreiber) asked her to hide him and his family from the Nazis during World War II; Explore the World with the Next Gen of Nat Geo Storytellers, a panel discussion with award-winning Portuguese journalist and National Geographic Channel correspondent Mariana van Zeller, award-winning chef, entrepreneur and global trailblazer Kristen Kish, global adventurer and award-winning travel blogger and influencer Jeff Jenkins, and life-long birder Christian Cooper;  “Secrets of the Elephants,” a natural history series where we travel the world — from the Savannahs of Africa to the urban landscapes of Asia — to discover the strategic thinking, complex emotions and sophisticated language of elephants, shaping a unique and dynamic culture; and a Nat Geo Documentary Films Directors Panel, a panel discussion with directors from four of the films shortlisted for this year's Oscars®.
