We are thrilled to see everyone in person at The Langham Huntington on Thursday, Feb. 8, 2024, for Nat Geo’s Winter TCA Day!

The day will begin with a breakfast in celebration of our upcoming series “Photographer.” Courteney Monroe, president of National Geographic, will kick off our day of panels with an executive session, outlining what’s ahead for Nat Geo and unveiling several new series and specials (along with a few special guests!).

Our morning panels include "Bobi Wine: The People's President," an Oscar®- and BAFTA®- nominated National Geographic Documentary Film that follows Bobi Wine as he risks his life to fight for democracy and defend the oppressed people of Uganda; “Photographer,” a docu-series from Academy Award®- and Emmy® Award-winning filmmakers Chai Vasarhelyi and Jimmy Chin that takes us on a journey alongside the world’s most extraordinary visual storytellers; “Queens,” a natural history series narrated by award-winning actress Angela Bassett that brings the natural world into focus through the female lens for the very first time; and a special Q&A with James Cameron (virtual). James will share his passion for the “Secrets of” franchise and tease “OceanXplorers,” his upcoming series following high-stakes adventures in ocean exploration.

Join us for lunch ahead of our afternoon panels to commemorate the 20th anniversary of Cesar Millan’s “Dog Whisperer.” Chat with Cesar about his current series, “Better Human Better Dog,” and his journey over the past 20 years, and even cuddle with some cute four-legged friends!

Our afternoon panels include “Secrets of the Octopus,” the next installment of the award-winning, natural history “Secrets of” franchise; “Genius: MLK/X,” a docu-drama that offers an intimate look into the formative years of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. (Kevin Harrison Jr.) and Malcolm X (Aaron Pierre); and “The Space Race,” a National Geographic Documentary Film that weaves together the stories of Black astronauts seeking to break the bonds of social injustice to reach for the stars. We’ll finish off the day with a final announcement and surprise performance.
